It is widely used in pharmaceuticals, electronics, laboratories, hospitals, and industrial air handling systems.

High-efficiency filters are used for terminal filtration in HVAC systems. They are defined as air filters that, under rated airflow conditions, achieve a sodium flame efficiency of over 99.9% for particles with a diameter ≥0.5μm and have an airflow resistance below 250Pa.

  Function: High-efficiency filters are primarily used to remove fine dust particles smaller than 1μm and can also filter out bacteria from the air, reducing the bacterial colony count in the outlet airflow to virtually zero.

  Composition: They mainly consist of a frame, filter paper or filter media, separators (some designs are separator-free), and sealant.

  Classification: Based on the filter media, high-efficiency filters can be categorized into three types: ultra-fine glass fiber paper, ultra-fine asbestos fiber paper, and synthetic fiber fabric.

  High-efficiency filters serve as the key equipment in air cleanliness systems. The air purity standards of clean systems and cleanrooms primarily rely on their filtration performance to achieve the required cleanliness levels.
