Bag filter

Short Description:

Bag Filter is designed for ventilation and air filtration systems that require large dust holding capacity, stable airflow, and reliable particle removal. With its multi-pocket structure, it provides efficient filtration performance, extended service life, and helps improve overall air cleanliness.

It is widely used in HVAC systems, cleanrooms, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hospitals, and other air handling applications.

Bag-type Medium Efficiency Filter

The bag-type medium efficiency filter is a device used in pipelines for conveying media, primarily employed for intermediate filtration in central air conditioning and centralized air supply systems. It protects downstream filters and system equipment. Its filtration particle size is 1–5 μm, with a filtration efficiency of 60%–95% (colorimetric method). The suitable ambient temperature is ≤80°C.

This filter features a bag-type structural design. The frame materials include cold-rolled plate with spray coating, galvanized sheet, and aluminum alloy. The filter media consists of non-woven fabric and glass fiber. It offers high dust holding capacity and low resistance. During installation, ensure the length direction of the filter bag opening is perpendicular to the ground. Replacement is required every 3–4 months or when the resistance reaches 400 Pa.

It is widely used in pharmaceutical, electronics, food industries, and central air conditioning ventilation systems. In locations where air purification cleanliness requirements are not stringent, air treated by this filter can be supplied directly to end-users. It is often used as pre-filtration for high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters to extend their service life.

  Summary Description

Bag-type medium efficiency filters have frames made from materials such as cold-rolled plate with spray coating or galvanized sheet. The filter media includes non-woven fabric and glass fiber.

These filters are extensively applied in central air conditioning ventilation systems and industrial purification settings like pharmaceuticals, hospitals, electronics, and food processing. They are also employed as pre-filters for HEPA filters to reduce the load on the HEPA filters and prolong their service life. Due to their large frontal area, bag-type filters possess a high dust holding capacity and low air velocity, making them considered the best medium efficiency filter structure currently available.
